John Haffner Both me and my wife each got this stuff sack before our hike of the Te Araroa in NZ. We found it to be very useful to have the strap during resupplies we would take basically a cart full of food quickly remove bars and crap from their boxes and just chuck it in the stuff sack then throw it over our shoulders. It was super convenient. We have used it for 6 years since and it has only needed slight mending for one of the sacks. Considering how much it's been used that is to be expected.

Anthony The material is thin and slippery so it does not roll closed well. The carry strap is more of a hindrance than a help. The top of the strap is by the closure buckle and makes an already difficult roll, more difficult and less effective.
