Love the fabric, the pockets and being able to make close them with a snap if needed.
Love this! Great quality, thoughtful design, and fits perfectly. As a guy I like that it has belt loops, pockets, and a fly so I can go about my day no different than when wearing shorts. Except with the comfort and flow of wearing a skirt!
Yeah, I know. Men in skirts. Who would’ve imagined a skirt would be the ideal hiking gear? Have a black one of these and have hiked many trails. Thought an army green one would be good too.
I live in the south. Where it’s hot. The A/C of a skirt is remarkable. And there’s freedom of movement when you’re climbing over stuff. Awesome pockets that hold everything you need quick access to. No accoutrements in the back that dig into you under your pack. Modesty snap is pretty awesome too for those of us who weren’t taught how to sit right in a skirt.
And I didn’t expect the compliments from the ladies. Guys sort of sheepishly ask me about it cause again, men in skirts. Haha. But it’s awesome and it’s only clothing. I’m still a guy.
This is a well made skirt. The pockets are great, and the fabric is top notch. As a male the A-line waist is too small. I usually wear XL in all other skirts. However would not want anything bigger in the hips or bottom hem. So am returning it.
I love my kilt! I wore it for a rim to rim Grand Canyon hike in 96 degree heat and I definitely felt like having an unobstructed breeze underneath it all lowered my body temp by a good 10 degrees - I also really like the functional pockets and light weight material - not being weighed down by heavy fabric on a super hot day was very very nice... twas the next best thing to hiking naked :-)
Thank you for making such a functionally fun product!!!
Bonus! - the fun design/fabric pattern also worked great for wearing at a hot summer festival (Oregon Country Fair :-)
