custom sewing

I ordered a rain jacket (1” extra sleeve length), and the quality seems excellent. Have tried it out in a couple of light rains, and it seems to perform well. I like the overall fit — hood, sleeve cuffs, etc. Also nice to know that LH Gear is a US company that puts out great gear.

I am 6'5" and (so far) have avoided putting on excess weight. Lightheart did a great job modifying their rain jacket such that it fits my arms very well without over-estimating the torso. They did this quickly and without any fuss. Definitely great service!

Found this company through a backpacking review I trust. Slight challenge with the first one ordered was quickly and easily rectified by placing a new order with custom sleeves (+ 3”). Joshua was very helpful. Best of all - Made in the 🇺🇸!!

Got it and can't wait for 1st rain. All seems perfect as I dry-try it. Hood closures, armpit zippers, etc. I'm 5'10", 140 lbs. and got a Small and paid for 2" longer sleeves. Wanted no sleeve pulling up when stretching arms for tent setup, cooking, etc. Could have gotten by w/ 1" extra but 2" is perfect, and btwn elastic and velcro, sleeves don't drape over hands when arms at rest. Working with Designer/Maker was great experience, she was afraid was going to be too tight for me. Am not big chested or big shouldered so fit turned out is really great, no tension when bending over, reaching out etc. I do note weight came in tiny bit heavy, 6.9 oz vs 5.4 spec for Small. But is Blue (which comes seam-taped), plus 2" sleeve extenisons, so that explains some of the weight diff.
