Okay, I don't wear skirts or dresses in the real world. Little did I expect that I would enjoy wearing one on the trail. But after reading a couple blogs I decided to give it a try.
I am familiar with the quality of Lightheart's products, I love my solong6!
So when I discovered that they made not one but two fleece skirts I knew who I was buying from.
I should start out by saying I had questions and Judy was fast, kind and had the answers. Shipping was fast, I turned around on the way to the trailhead because it came in early.
This skirt is about 3 oz, an 1 oz lighter than the other one. The waistband is stretchy and comfortable under a hipbelt.The cut allows freedom of movement and generous pockets held my phone, keys and much more. Stitching is perfect, this garment is made for adventure.

Perfect for spring and summer, the fabric is light and airy but warmer than running shorts in the morning. I liked that I was able to start out with leggings underneath and didn't have to do a trailside strip tease once I warmed up. I can't wait to rack up a bunch more miles in this skirt. Maybe a dress is next?
