Waterproof, packable, light

waterproof, ultra light, well ventilated! I bought a size Small and the hem is a bit tight (I have hips, after all). and I do sometimes wish the outer pockets zipped or velcro-ed up a bit but they are deep so I don't mind too much yet. Love the camo print.

Great Lightweight Jacket

Packs small, very light, doesn't wet out (so doesn't get heavy when wet), works very well. I did not notice breathability to be any worse than typical goretex et al rainjackets I have used. This jacket along with a rain kilt is always in my pack these days.

It is very slippery, so putting a heavy pack on over the jacket can be a balancing act until everything is fastened.

Black Rain Jacket - Size Medium

Very happy to have received this jacket. The fit is perfect for me at 5'8' with 42" chest. Enough room for layering. Love the light weight and small packable size. Should be great for my 7 day backpacking in Oregon in late July.

Couldn’t be happier

I love the raincoat I recently purchased. Well made and it fits perfectly. More importantly, it’s so far kept me dry. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I’ve had many opportunities to test the coat’s water-proofness. Would definitely recommend purchasing.

Love everything about this jacket so far

So first off--I am 6'1", 175 lbs. and usually need 36/37 inch sleeves in a dress shirt (this is the detail I ALWAYS look for in a shirt/jacket review and rarely get). The large fits really well and doesn't have a crazy amount of extra material around the waist, though I figured from reading other reviews that I would want about another inch of sleeve length. Definitely still works and isn't something I really noticed, and not something I'd pay to get a custom length. Also got the Moroccan Blue because it looks so great you can also take it out clubbing. Just kidding, it's because I'm lazy and don't want to seam seal and would rather have it done by someone that does it better. :) Tested this out on a 4 day hike in Isle Royale National Park and it worked great. Only had a light drizzle during one of the days, but the jacket acquitted itself wonderfully. Kept me dry and the huge pit zips allowed me to stay pretty cool. Wore it in camp as an outer later and it worked great to keep my heat in. Never felt clammy, but it was also in the 40s/50s. So light and packable--I kept this stashed in the mesh outer pocket of my pack and barely knew it was there. Would give 6 stars if I could!
